These are the founding values upon which the Big 8 Conference was constructed. Our eight-member colleges are committed to these principles and to providing athletic experiences for students from local high schools.
The Big 8 has established itself as one of the premier conferences in California community college athletics. Currently, the Big 8 Conference offers 20 sports for men and women. Promoting all sports with equal emphasis, member colleges believe in the tenets of equitable experiences for both men and women student-athletes.
A member of the Community College League of California's Commission on Athletics, the conference has become an important and influential factor in athletic competition at conference, regional and state levels.
